Bike's alright (THAT'S the important thing 
) , and I am too . Never even went down . Now for the long story .....
Went out for an "angry ride" through the country . It's getting close to dusk , and I'd already seen one doe near the road . While goin somewhere in the 70-80 range (which give my speedo's somewhere around 10-15% optmistic ...) when I saw the brown blur out of the corner of my eye . Then I saw the doe like 30 feet away (not REAL sure exactly , but she was REAL close) crossing the road , and I grabbed a fistful of brakes . I SOMEHOW remember not to "grab" them , but "squeeze" progressively , but I'm pretty sure I heard the front tire howl . She was moving through my lane when I hit her . Just a glancing blow I think . I DEFINATELY felt it . I think I hit her tail or leg , because the bike just kinda shimmied a bit , then kept right on going . Slowed down and pulled over a mlie later when I found a driveway to check the bike . No visible damage , nothing seemed loose . Continued on the 20 miles home at about the same speed , sometimes letting go to feel if anything wierd happens , which it didn't . What a day .

. ESPECIALLY since there didn't seem to be ANY damage to the bike . So I'm part of the deer bitch-slappin club now , right ? When should I expect to recieve my patch ?
