  • Fairing screws and clips

I put the plastics back on my motorcycle after it was repainted and I'd like to replace the screws that I've been missing. I stopped by the Suzuki dealership yesterday and they are still not open for the season. I'm not sure what the part numbers or sizes for the screws I need, but I know where they thread into on my 98+ Kat. Where is the best place to find and order these?

i'd just go to a hardware store... there is no way i'm paying $1.50+ ea for screws and stuff.

last time i needed some i went to the local stealership and took them off another Kat, lol.

Your local dealer actually closes over the winter ? All the ones around here stay open all year long.

Figure out what you need, then contact me. I have a bunch of spares inbound with the next shipment of stuff (should be here in about 10 days) and I can sell them to you cheaper than any other authorized Suzuki source.

            Cheers,

just a thought try Mrcycles.com they are based in N.C . I bought my fairings thru them I waited 10 days but saved 100.00 each fairing and they seem ok priced. Also like the other memebr said try like the local hardware store bring one in and maybe they can match it. They are like 1.50-2.50 from suzuki. hope that helps

i think i would be nervous about buying a bike from a dealer who is actually closed for part of the year. they must be pretty small. the one here stays open because they also deal yamaha....which means snowmobiles. they also sell atv's....so it is always open.

+1 on bike bolts. Have them on mine (wished I'd waited until they started colors ).

I went to the stealership the other day, and bought 5 bolts, and spent $13 dollars and change.

                          Hmm...

This is a Suzuki/Yamaha dealer as well. They sell ATVs and motorcycles. Maybe they were closed for a reason other than winter? They normally have a fleet of vehicles outside, but this day, they were all locked up in the showroom.
