  • Well.....I done went and done it now.

Bad news everyone. I basically paid like 500 bucks for my kat(traded something). I had around 150 invested. Well, loaded it up on a truck today for 1500 bucks. I almost cried as dude was leaving. I am now kicking myslef and wishing I hadn't done it. So, now I have 1500 bucks and a broken heart. Anyone know of any decent bikes(600cc and up) for around that. It is cool if it needs a little work. Would need to be around the Atl, Ga. area.

If I can't find another, I guess it is goodbye everyone. It's been real and you guys and gals have provided me with lots of wonderful advice. For that I thank you.

    Later,

    Daniel. 8)

Well Dan...that sux. Tell ya what though.....take a little time to collect your feelings....invest that $1500 into something that will double your money...and I will deliver you an 1100 Kat. The exchange on $3k US into Canadian will pay my gas to deliver you the bike. Add another $300 to that, and I will leave you my trailer as to save me hauling it back. While I am down that way, I will truck on down the rest of the way to Florida and look up some old friends, and stop off and say hi to CP.

Just a suggestion to think about
I don't have a short temper. I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.

      lol, cool.

To be honest with you. An 1100 is a little more bike than I want. I haven't been riding long at all and I think an 1100 is a little to much. I am actually in negotiations at the moment for a 92 CBR 600F2. Has race fairings on it but the guy has most of the stock stuff left. He is asking 1500 but I am trying to get it for 1200.

You will like the F2. I had a 94 F2 and wish I could get it back. I had the White one with black and red on it. Never had a problem out of the bike at all. I would give him the $1500 and tell him to throw in everything with it. You can do track days with that bike and have a blast.

Those old F2's are awesome bikes, really top notch rides for their time and still more than adequate bikes today. You'd do well with it if you can score the deal. Just remember to check it out completely and know what you buying.

Sometimes getting the first thing that comes at you isnt always the best idea but as long as you check it out and make sure you knwo what you're getting you'll be very happy with an F2.
