Cheap Insurance that services Southern CA?

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a cheap (but still good) insurance company in Southern CA?

(Somehow, I doubt Geico and its billion dollar motorcycle ad campaign is the best way to go)

Do yourself a favor and get a bunch of quotes from a variety of firms, both local and national. Then figure it out for yourself. Rates can vary very heavily between firms even for the same location/bike (for a theoretic example, if Farmer's had to pay out a dozen claims for theft and vandalism in the last two years in your zip code, but Allstate didn't have to pay out any, Allstate could be much much cheaper).
