    Somethin' about my Katana!?!

    Got my '05 Katana about 4 months ago and I love it. To be honest, I love the look of the "R" bikes: sleek, slanted. I keep looking at other bikes and sitting on them, but when I look at my Katana there is just something about the way it looks when I walk towards it that gets me excited and then I feel bad for "cheating" on my baby. I love the way it rides, handles, and looks....been slowly modding it. Shovel chop, mesh mod, lowered, stickers, clear signals, and my cowl is on order from BraadaJim.
    New paint scheme possibly in the works, just can't decide. Has anyone ever tried a short exhaust? I like the look on the new GSXR. Will one fit? Advantages?

    I love the styling of the Kat. and I like that I don't have one of the "in" bikes that all the squids ride. the Kat is all the bike I need. comfy, dependable, fast and great looking. plus insurance is way more affordable. sure I find myself drooling over a gsxr1000 or busa now and then, but I don't think I'll ever get one. (unless I hit the lotto )

      I am the same way!!! I love the way mine looks all red no stickers when I walk out of my office to the warehouse to go home there it is and I just walk slowly and check it out!! I am lucky I can keep it in a air conditoned whs!!!! Only one problem I have had with keeping it in the whs I have caught a young kid that works for me sitting on it and I am always afraid he will turn it over!!! He has not been back on it since I told him if he dumped it over not only was he going to give me the money to fix it but I would be kicking his a_ _ and then I would fire him!!!!

        Anything is possible with the exhaust, it is just a matter of custom work. I was starting to think about putting a coupla the new Gixxer 1000 cans on mine, duals with that shape and style, but I am still undecided on it and how it would really look once complete.
