Yesterday I went on an all afternoon excursion over to Ozello Key on the west coast of FL with about 10 guy from the sportbike club here in gainesville. We hit the Ozello Trail Road, which is a pretty twisty road that's about 7-10 miles long. Very enjoyable and my first chance to really lean the Kat over in some tight turns (scraping pegs/boots left and right). It really boosted my confidence level with the bike and gave me a better understanding of my and my bike's limits. For those of yall in FL, I highly recomme it. Also, on the way back to Gainesville, we hit some very nicely paved, flat, straight roads that would go 5 mile intervals without any intersecting roads. Needless to say, I got the chance to crank my Kat up and pushed the speedo to 145 before I decided that was good enough for me. It still wasn't redlining, but it was close. Anyways, here's a mapquest link to the Ozello trail road for those interested.

There are some curvaious roads to be found -- you just need to search (they are few and far-between).
Cheers
