If you let us know what kind of bike you have that might help..

Lowering links in the rear should help.

Or 2 x 4 blocks duct taped to bottom of your riding boots.
One project done, now on to the next few!!

You dont need to touch the ground, just practice ur balance

Really though, post up the info about your bike so we know what you have. Out of curiousity though, when did you purchase the bike, and what made you choose it over a bike that may have fit you better at this point ? how fast are you growing?

I posted that one, have a friend married to a dwarf. She has a set of shoes with 2x4 blocks attached and drives the corvette with them. Starnge sight but she is really good at using them.

We lowered my wife's SV with a lowering link.....dropped it one inch.

Also, took some padding out of the seat.....dropped it another inch!

AND, added an inch onto the bottom of her boots....yup, another inch.....

                        Re: Vertically challenged tips

Heh, I'm 5'4 and my 02 Katana 750 was my first bike -- got it last year. Never quite got around to getting it lowered and over the first two weeks I ended up dropping it : 3 times cuz couldn't get good footage when coming to a stop. When u're on your toes and u're a noob there's very little room for error as far as putting your feet down early. A season and a half later I kinda got used to it, thought when had a passenger up for the first time recently I was amazed to discover what both feet comfy on the ground actually feels like So, at 5'5 you've got an extra inch on me, if you use boots with some heel you should be fine, just be carefull not to put your feet down early.

                            I like short chicks!

                            (I like tall ones too, it's the in-between ones I can't handle )

                            ALL chicks are evil!

Assuming we're talking about a Katana here, go here: www.katriders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13109 and ne-oublie can hook you up. It is an easy part swap.
