If i run my bike with out any of the plastics on it NONE AT ALL and i drop it will it hurt the bike at all (whats the worst case scenario).

You might damage the oil cooler in a drop..
(maybe)
Dash/ instuments.. (maybe)
After that you might grind through a
case cover.. (where if the fairings were there
you might just damage it, not go all the way through)
That would be an at speed crash..
After that... Look out for rain.. Some parts that recived protection from rain might now be exposed..
Oh and you will not Die....

Lol to the die part, and thanks just wonderin cause it is still riding weather here in VT even though it isnt suppose to be no snow yet but i already took all the plastics off for paint and dont feel like putting them back on for a week then off again.Life's fast so you have to be faster, ride fast and take risks...Comment

I think the light assembly gets some support from the fairings. I don't have enough experience to give an answer regarding the damage from fall question. But it seems to me that removing the lower fairing reduces the amount of cool air that the "shark's mouth" behind the front tire pulls in. That won't be a problem when riding this late in the year in cool climates. So this is just a thought if anyone is considering running without the fairing at warmer times of the year.Comment

I doubt that would be much of a problem . ALOT of the 98+ guys removed their bottom fairings , and I've ridden all day with a guy who had no plastics at all in midsummer , no problems (other than an unrelated oil leak
) .

You can ride without your plastics without doing any harm to the bike itself. Watch out for odd wires hanging and rubber stripping (pre's have it around the dash) that may come off when your riding but other than that no big deal. They do provide aerodymnamics at high speed and help with cooling but not so much that you'll ruin the bike without them.
Now as far as dropping it goes..... One word for ya...FRAME! Your fairings are actually called "Frame Protectors" and are designed to absorb and disperse an impact away from the frame. IF you drop it AND you scratch the frame, AND you report it to your insurance THEY will most likely total the bike. By their standards ANY frame damage, even if it is just a scratch, weakens the bikes structure and is a total loss.Comment

Those involved in this thread/debate may also want to read Suzuki Showcase: Mission Accomplished, which details how the removal of the fairings slowed a 2004 GSX600R's top speed down by 10 mph (the story is interesting in and of itself).

You will not die.
Your bike will prolly catch a nasty cold and have to go on massive anitbiotics before pneumonia sets in, but other than that you'll be fine.
But like BP said, watch the exposure on some parts.
(Old guys know best)
