    CA tail lens

    Has anyone had any problems with CA tail lens, specifically the taillight melting the red casing inside the lens?

    Long story short, thought I had some electrical problems, but come to find out the bulb was melting the red casing which in turn was touching the bulb causing it to burst. Took at least three bulbs for me to figure this out.

    You were the first one I've heard of with the issue... Q: have you contacted CA yet? Send them a registered letter with all the details and receipts -- CA specifically usually over-compensates on such customer service issues

        yeah ive never heard of that either.. very weird.. you were using the stock bulbs and/or the ones that came w/ the tail light?

          yep. stock bulbs. not sure if maybe they were a little closer than what they were supposed to be but they sure as hell melted the sh*t out of the red casing causing at least 3 diff bulbs to blow.
