Do you guys stop pumping gas when it automatically stops or do you top off a little more. Seems to me that if i dont top off i never get full tank. My brothers YZF never needs to be topped off for sum reason. How bout you guys??

top it off as much as you can..might as well get every last drop in u can, especially w/ prices these days. remember too.. if u fill up the bike while sitting on it; becareful when you go to put the nozzel back onto the gas pump, that rocking of the bike can make it splash out all over the place.
conversely, if the bike is on the side stand, u'll get just a tad less, filled up, than when its completely upright.

If it's the last time you're filling it up for the winter, put the fuel stabilizer in just before you start pumping, and then fill it all the way up (including waiting for it to settle). Ideally, if you have to drive it home or to storage afterwards, top it off with a gas can of fresh fuel after you park it. You want as little or zero air in there (less air = less air for condensation to form in = less chance of rust in the bottom of the tank over the winter).
