  • Good Bye Katana...

I would like to say good bye to my old 2002 Katana 600. We had fun together.

But would like to say hello to my new baby -

OMG, that AK exhaust system, those wave rotors, those brake calipers, that doublebubble...I love it. Absolutely gorgeous.

The only thing after market on there is the clear alternatives front turn signal, windscreen, and the slip on. The rotors are not the wave rotors, they lightened. The calipers are stock. I only have 600 miles so far, and at 6000 rpm I am going 95mph.

Believe it or not, I scares the hell outta me!!!

6th gear roll on from 60mph to 80mph in just 2.5 seconds!!!
160 hp at only 479 lbs.

It is really too bad that you can't keep both. Nothing like playing on the small bikes for twisties and then getting on a liter bike for brute power.
