    Howdy!
    Does anyone happen to know what (if any) better calipers would be a direct bolt-in??

    Nothing better is going to be a direct bolt in.

    If you want better performance...

    rebuild the calipers and master
    replace the old rubber lines with stainless steel braided lines
    Use Carbone Lorraine sintered HH pads on the front.

    You would easily be able to do stoppies at that point.

      A Katana isn't powerful enough to need better brakes. I'd focus on one of the 100's of parts of the Katana that Suzuki didn't get right. Like the jetting.
