  • Chain and sprockets

Can you guys recommend a good manufacture? I installed JT chain and sprockets in April, have done 20,000kms on it and now it's done. It developed a tight spot around 3000kms ago, and has chewed my rear sprocket up pretty bad. It's time...LOL

I am going to assume that it wasnt an o-ring chain if it failed that soon. non 0-ring chains are cheap junk IMHO. They need to be constantly lubed very often.
Get an RK or DID x-ring or o-ring chain.

What? That's not right...no real difference between the two, just less friction at the seal.

It was a x-ring chain. Lubed often. Adjusted often enough. Not sure how the tight spot happened. Suspect the seals allowed the grease to come out?! Apparently JT makes great sprockets, but horrible quality chains. Just need a brand name I can trust that's reliable

You get what you pay for with chains. Learned this the hard way back in the day.
