I am a new member but no stranger to this site. Back in February I rescued my 02 Kat 600 from a friends garage and found this site while searching for parts and maintenance tips. When I got the bike has been sitting for three years without oil and carbs. Using many of the threads here I was able to rebuild my bike and have enjoyed 1000 miles of worry free riding. Right now it is once again torn apart fo a fork rebuild. The left oil seal went out and I decided that I would go ahead and install racetech springs and emulators. This project is going well and should be riding again by next week. Thanks to all who have posted such great step by step threads!

Hey All, Picked up my first Kat a couple of weeks ago, an '04 750, low, low mls for the years 8K and really clean. Been riding since I bought my first bike, a '71 Honda CL 350, new off the floor so that gives you an idea that I'm an old fart...Since then have had Hondas to Harleys and Triumphs to Ural w/sidecar. This Kat is quickly becoming the best of them all. Would like more info on this Ralley. May be able to do a few days to meet and share some miles.....
