Hihi! Welp I should have just joined up a year and a half ago when I found this site but I sometimes forget to do the obvious.

So around a year and a half ago I got my sweet Kat that I love and which seems to be perfect for my needs and/or riding style.. But it's a funny story.

I had worked alot and saved up some money and first had the idea of getting myself a nice used scooter to just go to work, tear around in and save a ton of money in gas. Annnd when I started looking around online: HOLY CRAP almost all these people were high on crakk with what they were trying to get for a used scooter(anything decent) Looked at new ones, all the cheaper ones have horror stories about people buying them and then having nothing but problems and suddenly the dealers become very unresponsive and shady.(Mostly pre assembled chinese junk I think) So I start looking at smaller used motorcycles and realised that many people were also unrealistic about the value and that a decent motorcycle really wasnt very much more.
So after sifting through tons of bikes adverted in or near my area.. I realized that I always wanted a Katana. So I found a guy that went down once at low speed (he took the worst of it, bike got a few easily camouflaged scrapes) and got a great deal on an 06 vandy apple burgundy Kat 750 with almost no miles. Guy gave me 3 jackets and a pair of gloves with it guess he was done..
I already took some advice from a thread i read on here around the time I bought. Metzeler sport touring tires and a Corbin seat Gunfighter+Lady and it rides like a dream. Couldnt be happier with it!! Pics soon I did some other neat stuff to it already.
