  • Hello All.......new member

Great site......have already gleened a huge amount of knowledge from the members here......Thank you
Ended up with a bargin low sided 2001, 750 Kat......figure to do some Sunday 1/8 mile drag racing...just for giggles
Bike came with 650 SV forks,Race tech springs and emulators,Delkevic can,
Figure to strech the swing arm 5 inches( way too old to loop this thing) a 50t sprocket, and jet kit
Just for interest does anybody have some 1/8 mile times for this bike, stock or otherwise...........Thx

That is clocked by a calendar... Good cruiser but, not a drag bike. Swap a bandit 1200 motor in it and have fun. 600 KAT = 70hp, 750 kat = 90hp, 1200 bandit = 135 hp. An extended swing arm is useless on these weak motor bikes. IMAO

Yeah,I've gotten that idea already from searching the site and if I were serious about racing I would start with a different platform......but the price was right ,so it is scrap it or race it .

A bandit motor would make it a lot more fun, or an early GSXR 1100 motor.
