    Hello everyone!

I have been lurking here since I got two 91 Katana 600's from a buddy of mine a little over a year ago. I must say it has been a real pleasure to read through everybody's posts and comments. This site is full of so much knowledge. My name is Brian and I have never had a street bike before and I am going to be learning the ins and outs of riding on my ntm Katana after I get her up and running. I never thought my wife would accept me riding especially after we had our first child nine and a half months ago, but she is actually on board with all of this. I have one bike with a title and another with no title. My buddy and I think we can get the titled one running in about four weekends and that is working at a drinking beer, smoking cigarettes, and just hanging out pace. I am completely open to any suggestions, ideas, and constructive criticism. I'm going to be going the streetfighter route so look for my build thread in that sub forum.
Im looking forward to getting to know everybody here!!

Hey dude, welcome to KR. Once you get the bike running, make sure you gear up!

As far as getting it running - hit up the wiki and download a service manual and read carbs 101.

Thanks for the welcome! I have a friend helping me do everything. This Saturday is the start day and we are pulling both motors and installing the part bikes motor into the titled bikes frame. I'm gonna paint the frame while I'm at it but can not decide what color scheme to go with. Thinking about doing the frame white and the wheels white, the tank flat black and anything that's chrome I'll do green, if you know about the chive, that's the green I'm gonna use.

                  Solid advice right up there.
It doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you ride.
