    Just introducing myself.

I live in the high mountains of Colorado.
    I ride a 2006 Katana 750 gsxf.
Occasionally I visit here for basic information.
Finally have an issue that I have not figured out yet.
Here's a pic, as I know everyone wants to see something.

Come to Creede next Memorial Day weekend for the Taste of Creede Festival and most likely, the hippie with the long headband playing Led Zeppelin songs on a black Les Paul through two Fender Twin amps will be a Katrider.
They call him zuma. Welcome, neighbor.

            Thanks for the warm welcome!

Zuma, what is the "taste of creede" festival about?

I've done some surface mining in that area years ago for pyrite and amythest.
            Also some fossils over there.

The kids were just in Salida for Labor day with the grandparents. We do the season passes at Monarch. Welcome fellow Coloradan.

Taste of Creede is a two-day celebration where vendors set up booths in the street, local restaurants have a cook-off, I provide live classic rock in the street, and some old fart walks around in mountain man clothes with a dead coyote on his head. You know, stuff like that.

Not on my head...on some old dude dressed in skins who walks around telling mountain man stories. I said to him, "Sir, it's not of my business, but there appears to be a dead coyote on your head." He just looked at me like I was a hippie or something, shook his head, and then walked on.

Taste of Creede is a very cool thing...lots of people and things to see. Sometimes they call me Dan Evans. Be sure to eat at Kip's...it's like dining in the sky.

Welcome! Sorry mountains north of the border are a 4 day ride away so the rolling hills will have to do.

I spent most of my youth as well as the last 30 years in this desert terrain. Your rolling hills would seem like paradise. Now for the last three years I've lived on a river in the mountains of Southwest Colorado. I sometimes can't believe it.
