    Hi to all ,
    Im new to this site but not new to katanas .
    I have owned my 1983 katana 1000 since 1985 .
    Now for the twist......... it got put in a garage in 1993 I left the uk for California thinking I will get it shipped out soon well soon is 20 years later
    MY BAD

    Time does fly and families are expensive that's my excuse anyway !
    So soon it will be here and my friends will get to hear the joyful sound of a
    Harris works collection
    Bring it on.

    I hope you took steps to keep it nice, like draining carbs and making sure the inside of the tank didn't rust. 20 years is a loong time. Was it kept in a heated garage?

      Sure did kept it in a climate controlled room ,battery tender all the right stuff
      had it started and run up regularly
      Of course wont know until it gets here exactly whats up but I don't think its a basket case
