I'm Kawasaki fan and always have been but my brother in law was in a bad spot and I picked up his 90 katana 600f. I had it for roughly two months then decided the red was to old and went to black and white paint with gold accents to match wheels. 3 days after paint a company truck and trailer knowingly had no working break lights or blinkers and stop short to turn and caused me to low side. 2500 in hospital bills and jacked up/ broken fairings paint job ruined and now it seems the bike doesn't like high rpms now can't get over 6k with out sputter seems like it flooding! Since I'm uninsured I'm perusing a law suet plus I have to go after Panama City police department for not filling out a full report and putting wrong information on report and not giving the guy a ticket and blaming the wreck on me for following to close! Anyways I'm Chris Sutter I live in Panama City,Florida .... Would love some peeps to ride with or talk bout bikes with in the area!?

Well u not gonna win this case simply because in Florida u have to be within stopping distance from veh in front of u and if u wasn't able to stop , you was riding to close but you can go after the truck driver because yea he should of had lights but then again his lights could be fixed by then I say if ur alive for get about wasting money trying to sue and repair bike and get motorcycle insurance and stop riding close to vehicles ... I'm in palm beach Florida but you are far away lol

I don't know about the laws down there, but up here with out insurance you are screwed if you are at fault or not. From what you have said I would do what KatOwner600 says.

Hey in Florida if you don't have insurance then your bike is treated as a car, or something like that!
