  • HeadGaskets.....

Just finished doing the headgasket on my 2000 Katana 600...... felt so good when she started up and ran after being stripped down to the cylinders for a week. I now know why shops charge so much for labor. Me not being a seasoned mechanic, it took me some time, but I eventually figured everything out.

I'm RIGHT behind you on the same deal (98 Kat 600). Got the head coming back today!! But gives me time to work on the paint job more.

Make sure you replace all those rubber O-rings, including the ones on the return line for the oil. Might as well replace the exhaust gaskets too while you're at it.
