  • new tires today

I had a new set of Michelin Pilot Power 2ct's installed today. Seems to be working out great, the bike handles completely different now though. Shes eager to turn into corners ( takes very little input into the handle bars to corner) and wants to stay in the turn even when I relax the pressure. I assume this is normal and if not, im not sure I would want to go back. Also, probably against better judgment, I took my bike to the nearest round-a-bout and tested the tires at high lean angles. Still performed beautifully. Anyways just though I'd share.

You know that when you take a corner, you shouldn't have a lot of pressure on the bars, right? And also, it's best to break the tire in for at least 100 miles before testing the lean angles. But I have to agree the 2ct's are a fine tire. I had them on my 06 Kat before I sold it. Put them on my 07 Zx14, and went against my original plan on puttin them on my 97 Blackbird, I chose Michelins new PR3 and have never been more impressed with a sport touring tire. It is better than the 2ct IMO
Ride like there's no tomorrow!!! You never know when your going to run out of "tomorrows"!!!

Very pleased with my PR3s for the week I was at the rally. Performed very well.

Glad to hear those Road 3's are good! I heard the 2CT's are even softer, and grippier!
Its my first street bike, so I got what I read was the best tire you could get!

Every Michelin tire is a 2ct... except the options for the pilot powers (PP or PP2ct to designate the difference between street dual compound or the track single compound tire under the PP name).
