I will sell you a set of lowering links. But if you want it done right, your suspension needs to be modified.1992- project katfighter

I'm open to suggestions. I was a F-16 Mechanic back in the Air Force and I work on trains now. I'm mechanically inclined just new to the world of sportbikes. Any help or links where I can read up how to do things the right way is greatly appreciated.

My suggestion, if you want to do it right, to talk to T and Krey as mentioned above. But don't expect what you want to be cheap if you want it done right.1992- project katfighter

OK thanks Cinti. I'll keep it in mind. I got this mechanic's itch lately where I want to have something to work on in my spare time. I'm a certified welder and have some friends who have more certifications than me. I'm hoping that will help with some of the expenses. I just want a nice project to work on during my days off to keep me busy.
I'm still waiting on word to see if I'm going to be able to get this other bike, an '03 600 Kat. If i get this other bike i'll use it to ride to work and so on so that i can make the
'00 a project bike maybe eventually a show bike.

You should buy another swingarm and jump in modding it yourself. You have the skills to accomplish your goal. A spare swingarm even lets you do the work, while still riding the bike.
