  • Is this a sign of bad needles?

So i have been chasing a gas leak for awhile that occurrs while riding and while parked. I pulled the carbs off and filled the lines with gas and i noticed that gas drips out of the two small jets on the front of the carb. Anyone know if this is a sign of bad needles?

update* flipped the carbs upside down and blew in the fuel lines but there was no air movement

Try checking/adjusting your floats first. If that doesn't work, then it's time to examine the needles and seats, but I think they are just out of adjustment.

Also, if it happens when it's sitting and the petcock is in the ON or RES position, it needs rebuilt.
