  • Akathepriest's Motorcycle (streetfigher, many pics)

So, I have been saving the progress up until now because I don't want any of you old timers giving me any ideas until I was satisfied with what I had planned.

I bought this motorcycle in November 2011 and rode it for the first time today.

Included are photos of the bike before, during, and after. The future resides in suggestions/comments. I know that I will be upgrading my suspension sometime, but for now this is all that my budget allows for.

    Before

    After

If you would like to see all the photos please visit my album on imgur, some of the pictures were not resized and are far too chunky to be on a message board.

Yeah, I like the color too, I just got a bit impatient with it.

Burnt Copper engine enamel if you were curious.

Well first two days of riding it and I have to adjust those mirrors, the speedo cable came off, and the clutch needs to be adjusted for sure. However, it rides great. Need V&H exhaust but, the money isn't in the works atm.

The gun has a flat cutting tip, melts right through the plastic leaving a nice line with some extra to file off.

Also, as for the wires and crap being exposed, I have some ideas. Aluminum diamond plate is one, and a sheet of plastic and a heat gun is another.
