  • started my pre 98 make over

I have been bored lately and got tired of the way my bike looked (its very rough) so i started modding and painting. So far i have painted the triple tree cover blue and sort of did a fender eliminater. i have not had the confidence to do the complete fender eliminater yet. so a run down on my bike:

Laid down by po had a dented tank that i replaced with a 600 tank with

    horrible scratched and sanded paint

headlight cage bent so plastics dont fit

only have to main abs front plastics off a 600 because back wont fit

have fake carbon fiber led rear turn signal

only right mirror off a 1975 suzuki ts 75 with the plastics on the stock ones (which i dont have anyways) wont fit because the plastics are sort of bent to halfway bolt on so where the mirror screws on wont line up

right now i am painting the brake lever and foot pegs (which the left one the po got off a gs so it 1. doesnt look right and 2. doesnt fit)

i bought some grill paint as well to do the plastics and tank but still have to decide what to do. i want to incorporate some blue into them but cant think of a design so any help would be greatly appreciated.

this is all i have now but will update as i go through the whole bike

future reference in 40 degree weather and 100% humidity
          1. does not dry as fast
          2. DO NOT let dry on newspaper it sticks and does not come out as good

I like the blue! I just got enough parts in the mail today to start fixing up my 89 Kat... just came back in from pulling things off in the garage. Good luck with your stuff; I'll keep an eye on this thread for sure!

before i start painting i want to do the fender eliminator as well as some sort of headlight mod and i was looking into the kawasaki tail and maybe some custom gauges.

                  left.jpg

sorry it took so long to update been pretty busy but here is pictures of what i did to the rear.

i cant figure out how to upload pictures to where it just shows up so for now its attachments. sorry

also i was thinking about cutting my left pipe off rigt after the mid pipe and block it off so it looks like a 4-1 system, anyone know how it would effect it running?
