  • Anyone using a cheap aftermarket shift lever thats worth using??

hey, so I have a pretty rigged shift lever at the moment.. The little knob that sticks out for you to easily grab gears with is broken off and the rubber knob cover is squezed over the long piece is attached to and Iv been getting down like that with the long piece diggin between my toes.
My bike is off at the shop getting an 8k service, so I had them price that part for me and it's 80 bucks!! I'm already spending enough, so I opted out of tacking on another hundred to that bill.
My question is... Is anyone using one of those cheap $15 pieces that come up first on the google searches?? I'd pay more than 15 bucks if there's a decent cheap one out there, but just wanted to know what any of you guys might have experienced going with cheaper aftermarket shift levers. Thanks. -Steven

I got one of the shiny ones off eBay, definitely don't fit a Kat.

There are no less than 69 used ones on there right now.
