  • Wheel change.

I am hearing that the stock front wheel on the 82s are a pig for handling at 19". I know that a common upgrade seems to be Bandit or GSX-R forks and wheels with radials. What I was was womdering was if anyone took the wheels from the 82, 83 or 84 GS 750s like mine with the 16" front. You won't have the luxury of putting on radials but turn in should be way quicker.

They look like they would fit but I haven't done any exact measuring. Does anyone know or have any more insight into this. It might make a bit of an improvement in handling with not a lot of cash outlay.

    Just wondering.

    Cheers all,

I don't have your answer, but i have an 88 kat as well ,16" wheels stock. Many folks are trying to upgrade to larger wheels, one of the most asked for mods. ( check the 1100 kat section).

Michelin makes a radial for that bike in 16 fyi,, good tire.

I scanned around on GSResource and couldn't find who was trying to sell it. Any help?

        Thanks,
