New speedometer, old odometer?

    New speedometer, old odometer?

    I just bought an instrument cluster from ebay for my bike. I was wonder if it is possible to swap out the odometer from my old cluster into the new one.

    the milage discrepancy is huge between the two, so I may be worried about this if I resell. That being said, I'm probably going to keep the bike for a while, so should I just not worry about it?

    thoughts?

    I would think that would be difficult, just to prevent such ,by dishonest folks. I could be wrong.

      this was my thought too, but it seems to be easy... Other forums have given me a couple different ways to do it.
