  • Oops, need replacement plastics.

So I took a tumble on fish witch road and need to rebuild the beast. In searching I have found references to models K1, K2, K3, does anyone know the differences or have a good source for replacement plastics and parts. I have a 2000 750cc, all help wanted.

    Thanks in advance.

plastics are tough to find and can be very expensive. is there no way to have them plastic welded?
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
    And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
    RIP Marc

Nope they were shreded. The cost is a lot, I am looking at possibly parting it out and getting another, what a drag.

        K1, k2 models are 98-2002 year models, I don't know when they switch. K3 are 03+ models.

There are aftermarket complete painted with decal sets available on Ebay for around $400-$500.

All years and sizes 1998-2006 should be interchangeable for the "front" body work. The tail changed in 03.

That Rockwall Body Work site looks pretty good. I went with the aftermarket fairings on eBay. Pics - http://katriders.com/vb/showthread.php?t=103012

I have seen a lot of threads lately on the fairings you can buy on ebay for really cheap. Here a link, or just search suzuki katana fairs on ebay.
