So how many of you go through the process of properly prepping your bike for winter storage? This will be my first winter having a bike and i was just curious. I understand that fuel may gum up my carbs and what not if it sits too long but some people have told me that they just park it in a garage or building and leave it.

Would my bike be fine if i maybe just ran some fuel stabilizer through it and started it ever so often until around March or April when the pretty days come back.

I follow this from CP. I skip a few steps, but last year I did all of them. I wasn't sure if I was totally storing or not this winter, long story, stripped cam caps. Anyways...

There are quite a few threads that cover this already.
