  • Yosh muffler

I had flooded the hell out of bike the other day and it was doing quite a bit of backfiring before I could get it to start. My question is, is it harmful to the exhaust when it backfires? I dont know if I am being paranoid or not...but it seems to sound different to me now? If I blew some baffles it shoul be louder right? To me it sounds a little more quiet then it did. What do you guys think?

a flooded engine will send some unburnt fuel to the muffler BUT it will burn out and clean out once you take it for a long ride, plus that exhuast will take a ocule hundred miles to actually break in and sound how its ognna sound for the rest of its life.
