I beleive these carbs came off pre 98 kat 750 motor, but would like some help identifying them. I will post pics as soon as I can.

They are mikuni's and the only numbers I could find on them are

17C00
E7Z6

thanks

Measure the diameter of the side of the carbs that attach to the intake on the engine. The inner diameter in mm should point toward if the size is correct or not.

17C30 17D30 for 49 state model pre 750 , 17C40 17D40 for Cali model . 17C00 SEEMS to indicate GSXR750 UK model '88-'89 but don't see the "E7Z6" thing :dunno: .

thanks,

for the info. I haven't had a chance to take any pics yet. But hopefully will soon. The carbs came with an 88 600 that I bought for the 750 motor. The carbs need some work. I have another set from a gixxer 750 that are good to go so I may just use them. The only thing is that the part where the throttle cable hooks in is different, and doesn't work as is. I'm sure with a few minor mods it will work, but I'd rather just have a set that connects easily.

The GSXR carb has a two cable throttles?
You can pick up a GSXR switch pod for cheap on e-bay.
I did the reverse and adapted the GSXR pod to work on the single cable..
