Are there any special tools need to do this? If so were is the best place to get them. Thanks

Well if you don't have the service manual or have not downloaded it yet I would recommend you do that first.

They recommend that you use a VALVE TAPPET TOOL That The CyberPoet sells http://www.katriders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17251
But I have done the job without it myself, I just used a pair of pliers instead.

I use my fingers to adjust the tappet once it's loose :dunno: .
Torque wrench , various sockets and allen sockets , and regular allen for the harder to reach bolts , feeler gauges in the right size .... that's aboot it , eh .

get the tool from cyberpoet(i did) i really help and it was cheap.and really hard to find.

The only specialty tools that you can't get at sears or a local hardware store normally will be the valve tappet tool (I get $6 for it delivered -- as cheap as a tool can be) and the OEM oil filter wrench adaptor ($4.50 + shipping).
