I love the sound of my D & D. Too loud for some though.

my friend has a d&d on his 01 R6 and its loud. if you ride with anyone you care about that might be behind you i would go with something a little softer lol. on the other hand, if you hate the person behind, D&D all the way.

Depends what you are looking for...everyone agrees Loud go with D&D but if the cops in your area are on the lookout for bikers you just put yourself on their list...there is a thread, do a search, where someone has a link with different sounds the different exhaust make...they are all MP3 format so you can hear what sound the pipe will put out...

News to me. No repacking woud be very nice and what a way to stand behind a product with that warranty. Smart marketing.

I like mine loud. I will say as I do to everyone who is interested in a D & D. If you don't like your exhaust loud and rude, don't get the D & D!

Scorpion claims a 5 HP improvement on the Kats. I've never (ever) seen a significant improvement (over 1 HP) on a 98+ Kat engine from just an aftermarket muffler, and definitely not 5 HP.

I also can't seem to find any info saying their bike mufflers never need repacking at the manufacturer's site... So I sent the manufacturer a query about that just now.

                      Cheers,

so far looks like the Scorpion is what I'll get. If I do get a Scorpion though it will be kind of funny because I made the comment in the Cycle Gear shop about getting one to go along with my Scorpion lid.

Just wish I could afford the carbon because I think tho black would look nice on my Kat.

Hey, if I pay for the "before" dyno, will you pay for the after "dyno" to establish factually, what, if any difference their can makes on your bike?

                              Cheers,
