I did a couple of searches and couldnt find any thing so. Will bandit 1200 carbs give better gains than my stock ones with a jet kit. I have a 90 600 kat.

    Not normally.

Generally, your engine can take 32 to 34mm carbs -- 32mm gives you better low-end torque and 34mm gives you better top-end power, but any change from stock will require that you get on a dyno to tune the carbs for your particular engine (be it jetkit or completely different carbs).

If you go with carbs that are too large, such as most built for very large displacement engines, you'll end up with too big a passage to draw enough vacuum at idle to suck up the amount of fuel you need to get it up & running while starting (or possibly even to keep it running once it fires & catches).

    Cheers,
