New copper gaskets? Have you tried retorqueing after everything is good and hot?

Let me make sure Im on the same page.
You said Slip-on. Your said your headers are leaking.
Did you get a slip-on, or a full exhaust system?
If you got a full system (headers and all), then look at the directions carefully. Most likely, they will tell you to use new gaskets, and to put some high-temp silicone on all the connections (flange's to headers, headers to collector's, etc).
If you re-used your old gaskets, they are probably going to leak once you have removed and replaced the header. New gaskets are cheap, and well worth the cost.
