SV 650 can on a Kat 600???????

Just wondering if a SV 650 Hindle oval slip on would fit on my 600? Has anyone ever come across this situation and tried it? My brother just traded his SV in for an R1 and stripped his Hindle off his bike. If it would fit on my Kat, then I would buy it from him.
