First mod done!

Well today I thought that I would go ahead and do the mesh mod on my 00 Kat 600. Took me about 15-20 min to get all the plastic off and another 30 min to do the mesh mod on both pieces. And in less then an hour BAM! Here it is!

I am going to do the other holes when I get the bike tuned right and I dont have to mess with the idle adjuster. Probably going to do them next week.

Next thing being done to the bike are a graphics kit.

Looks good! Outta curiosity, did you use my walk through? It's a good excuse to buy beer

What walk through? I went and got the hood vent filter for stove hoods and used that. Kinda did it on my own. I looked around to see how it was done and went from there.

I just relocated the idle adjuster to behind the oil fill "door". I used a washer to replace the thickness of the bracket, so that the screw would not bottom out on the carbs---it goes across all 4 carbs. I just zip tied the bracket to the frame to test this setup. It seems like it will work fine.
