I'm looking for a new full exhaust system for my pre 98 kat 600. The only full system I have found for the pre 98 is a vance and hines. I've seen D&D show and go full systems on ebay but can't find them at any website. I'd like to go with D&D, Hindle, or yosh. Does anyone know a place that has new full exhaust systems for older model kats?

I might be corrected but I think the 98+ pipes will work. That is what I have planed for the pre98 750 of mine for now. I prefer the hindle for the Kat's, Yoshi's for GSXR's.

To go Yosh, you will need to go to ebay and find a used one, they don't make them for the pre-98's anymore.

check Matt's thread for the others.

It looks like the only full system still made for the pre98 is vance and hines. Could I use the V&H system and slip on say a hindle can? Does anyone know for sure if the 98+ headers will work on the pre 98?

I've been looking into the exhaust systems that they still make for the pre 98 kats V&H and D&D are the only ones. I think I'll order the V&H Super Sport full system from Bike bandit. It is 337.46 and 6.00 shipping, so 343.46. Thats the best deal I've found. I figure I'll use the header and hopefully I can mod a hindle can to work with the V&H headers. I'll keep you guys updated. The thing is when I bought this kat totally wrecked it had this excat same exhaust on it. The headers were damaged from the front tire being pushed into it (front end crash) so I tossed the whole thing. I think it's funny that the same system is going to go back on.

Check with Special K (Keith)before you buy. His prices on stuff like that are often better, and I like dealing with somone I trust. I but most of my parts and accesories from Keith.

Special K, I am learning very quickly is the person you should go to for all of your Katana needs. If I only had a thicker wallet. Keith would be very happy.

I already talked to Keith. I'm very aware that Keith is the man when it comes to parts. He can get the vance and hines but not the d&d I haven't yet decided what I'm gonna do, but I'm leaning toward the V&H super sport. I know it's not the best system but the price is right and it's a new full system so it should do the trick. I'll find out what Keith can do before I order anything. He's a great guy to do business with.

no I'm not sure which one to get, the super sport is cheaper, and it looks simpler. you can check them out on bike bandit, I'd give you the url but I can't figure out how. Bike bandit has both the super sport and ss2-r
